	White House Mentoring Initiatives Recently, the White House has been showing tremendous support for mentoring. President Obama and Michelle Obama have both started their own mentoring programs in the White House, and in January President Obama issued a proclamation for National Mentoring Month. 	Minneapolis CARES MPM and partner organizations successfully launched the Minneapolis CARES initiative on December 10 at a special event with Susan Taylor. The next event, "Fall in Love with Mentoring," will be Friday, February 12th, 11am-5pm at the IDS Crystal Court in downtown Minneapolis.
