The Mentoring Partnership of Minnesota (MPM) offers technical assistance and training support as programs start, maintain and sustain quality mentoring initiatives.
We provide opportunities for mentor programs, workplaces, professional associations, and education, government and faith institutions to gain the support and resources that they need to provide quality mentors for more young people and to enhance the mentoring experience for all. In addition, we offer workshops to prepare both mentors and mentees to make the most of their mentoring relationships.
OPEN FOR REGISTRATION Screening Applicants for Effectiveness (SAFE) Training - Based on current research from psychologists and law enforcement, the mentoring field's Recommended Best Practices, and over 28 years of experience, the SAFE Training offers practical, tested tools to prevent child predators from infiltrating organizations and turning children into sexual abuse victims. Participants will come away with tools and approaches for the screening process that range from first contact with a potential mentor until long after the match is made.
OPEN FOR REGISTRATION Open Office Hours - Formerly known as Caffeinate and Concentrate, Open Office Hours is an opportunity for program staff from all types of programs at any level of expertise to come to an open space and dedicate work time towards specific projects that address current program needs, digging deep into areas that need attention.

Come enjoy a bagel, hear from a panel of your peers, and walk away with some new ideas to implement within your youth program.
