MPM Training

The Mentoring Partnership of Minnesota’s (MPM) Training Institute offers a wide variety of resources for mentor programs, workplaces, professional associations, and education, government and faith institutions to start, maintain, and sustain mentoring programs.
  • Training Quality Mentors - Focused on developing and delivering your own quality mentor training
  • Quality in Action Webinars - This webinar series examines some of the most pressing topics facing the youth mentoring field and allows you to interact with your peers from the convenience of your office.
  • Elements of Effective Practice - This training provides individuals and organizations with tools to design a responsible mentoring program based on the MENTOR/National Mentoring Partnership’s Elements of Effective Practice for MentoringTM. This series also provides a solid foundation of knowledge regarding mentoring best practices for new and veteran staff of mentoring programs. A two-day workshop offered twice a year (winter and summer).
  • Maximize Your Impact - Want to get a mentor matched but you don’t have another training coming up? Send your volunteer to an MPM mentor training!
  • Culturally Smart Relationships - will help new & experienced mentors (and mentor program providers) develop and strengthen their mentoring relationships.
